Optimal Posting Frequency
Ever since sharing Facebook page tips on my X profile, one question dominates: "How many posts per day should I post on my pages?"
Here's my tested strategy, scaled by follower count.
From 0 to 10,000 followers: 1-3 posts daily to signal activity to new ad-driven fans.
From 10,000 to 40,000: Ramp to 7-10, honing in on audience favorites.
More than 40,000: Scale gradually to 20-24 for sustained momentum.
On my main page, now at 460,000 followers, I hit about 20 posts daily (I texted about how many external links I post per day in the last issue here)
The Golden Rule
Time-strapped? Post less, but make every one original, curated gold. Quality crushes quantity every time your audience will thank you with loyalty and shares.
If you have limited hours, don’t waste energy churning out generic posts just to fill your schedule.
Instead, invest in crafting content that stands out a single well-written post with a striking visual or a thought-provoking comment can spark far more engagement and reach than a dozen forgettable updates.
